The gates swing open...

...nd the world grows quiet. Emma takes a breath before looking up. Across the lawn, Noah catches her eye. He gives her his familiar wink that always makes her smile, and she takes her first step toward him on their wedding day.

As the music plays, I quietly preserve every glance, every smile, and every unspoken emotion. Years from now, they will relive this moment exactly as it felt.

These are the moments I photograph. Not simply because they're beautiful, but because they're the moments you'll want to relive.

For me, it all began when I was a little girl; my sisters and I turned my mom’s wedding dress into something special. We took turns pretending to be the bride, officiant, and photographer. I learned then how important memories are.

Now, I create bespoke wedding photography for couples who value timeless elegance over fleeting trends. I document the moments that define your story through genuine emotion, refined composition, and timeless imagery meant to be printed, framed, and lived with for years to come.

These are more than wedding photos; they are personal works of art created to preserve how your day truly felt. Click the link below to explore the wedding experience.

Before you step into your dress or straighten your tie, I've already considered the light, refined the timeline, anticipated each transition, and prepared for the moments that allow your day to unfold naturally.

why i love photographing weddings

Seattle wedding ceremony vows emotional moment bride and groom exchanging vows

Your wedding is one of the few days you'll remember for the rest of your life.

It deserves someone who cares about it as much as you do.

Long before your wedding arrives, I'm already thinking about the light, refining the timeline, understanding your family and the relationships that matter most, and anticipating the countless moving pieces that allow your celebration to unfold naturally.

I know where the sun will be before the ceremony begins. I know how long it really takes to walk between locations. I know when to slow things down, when to step in with gentle guidance, and when to disappear quietly so the moment belongs entirely to you.

Every wedding teaches me something new, but one thing has never changed. The more thoughtfully I prepare, the more freedom you have to be present with the people you love.

That's what I love most...

Not simply creating beautiful photographs, but creating the space for you to experience your wedding while quietly preserving every genuine moment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions Couples Often Ask A Top Wedding Photographer in Seattle

Getting Started

Are we the right fit?

The best photographs begin with trust, which is why finding the right photographer is about much more than style alone.

We're likely a great fit if you value thoughtful planning, genuine connection, and an experience that allows you to be fully present on your wedding day. My couples appreciate gentle guidance when they need it, natural moments that never feel forced, and knowing that every part of the photography experience has been carefully considered long before the celebration begins.

If you're looking for someone who will not only create beautiful photographs but also help your day feel calm, intentional, and effortless, I'd love to hear your story.

What is it like to work with one of the most trusted Seattle wedding photographers?

Working with a wedding photographer in Washington should feel effortless from the moment you inquire. Before your weddg day, I'll help refine your timeline, anticipate the moments that matter most, and think through the countless moving pieces that allow your celebration to unfold naturally.

On your wedding day, I step in with gentle guidance when it's helpful and quietly step back when genuine moments unfold on their own. My goal is for you to feel present with the people you love while I preserve your story with intention and care.

What if we're awkward in front of the camera?

You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. Most of my couples tell me they're a little nervous before their engagement session, and by the end they're surprised by how natural it feels. Rather than placing you in stiff poses, I gently guide you with movement and conversation that allow genuine connection to unfold. By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll feel confident, relaxed, and completely at ease in front of the camera.

When should we book a wedding photographer in Seattle?

Many couples begin their search with “wedding photographer Seattle,” but what they’re really looking for is more than standard coverage. I provide a guided, bespoke experience that results in heirloom-quality images. Most couples book 9–15 months in advance, especially for peak dates between May and September. If your venue is already secured, it’s the perfect time to move forward so you have the right photographer in place from the very beginning.

Planning with Confidence

Will you help us build our wedding timeline?

Absolutely. Your photography timeline is one of the most important parts of creating a relaxed wedding day. Together we'll build a timeline that allows enough time for portraits, family photographs, and meaningful moments without ever feeling rushed. I'll also help anticipate travel time, lighting conditions, and the natural flow of your celebration so you can enjoy each part of the day with confidence.

How much time should we set aside for photos?

Every wedding is unique, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer. The amount of time depends on your venue, family photo list, wedding party size, travel between locations, and the moments that matter most to you.

Before your wedding, we'll walk through everything together and create a photography timeline that feels comfortable, allowing plenty of time for portraits while leaving room to enjoy your celebration.

Will you help us navigate family dynamics?

Every family is unique, and I approach family portraits with care, kindness, and thoughtful preparation. Before your wedding day, we'll discuss any relationships, groupings, or special considerations so everyone knows where they need to be and the experience feels smooth, comfortable, and organized.

My goal is for family portraits to be efficient, relaxed, and focused on the people who matter most to you.

Do you help us choose locations?

Yes. Whether you're planning a wedding in Seattle, the mountains, along the waterfront, or at one of Washington's beautiful venues, I'm happy to recommend locations that complement your vision while considering lighting, privacy, travel time, and the overall flow of your day.

The best locations aren't simply beautiful. They're the ones that allow you to be fully present while creating photographs that feel authentic to your story.

What happens if it rains?

Some of the most beautiful photographs happen in less-than-perfect weather. As a Washington wedding photographer, I'm always prepared with a thoughtful backup plan, alternative locations, and the experience to adapt seamlessly as conditions change. Rather than interrupting the celebration, the weather simply becomes another part of your story, often creating some of the most distinctive and memorable images of the day.

After the Celebration

About how many photos will we receive?

Every wedding is unique. On average, I deliver approximately 50-100 images per hour of coverage. My focus is on quality over quantity, ensuring that each photo reflects the essence of your day. My goal is to thoughtfully document your story, capturing the moments and emotions that define your love as it naturally unfolds.

How are the photos delivered?

Within 24 to 48 hours after your engagement session or wedding, I’ll provide 5 to 10 sneak peek photos for you to share and enjoy. Your full gallery will be delivered through a secure, password-protected online platform, making it simple to download your images. You can also easily share the gallery with friends and family if you'd like.

How do we reserve our wedding date?

As a Seattle wedding photographer, I believe your experience should feel effortless from the very beginning. Once you’ve submitted an inquiry and we’ve connected through a personal consultation, you’ll receive a tailored proposal and contract reflecting your unique vision. To secure your date, a reservation retainer of 50% is required, with the remaining balance due four weeks prior to your wedding. Given the high volume of inquiries I receive, all bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis—dates are reserved only with a signed agreement and retainer.
