When I was young, I remember going to my granddad’s house and looking up on his wall at a black and white photo of my grandmother. She was dressed in black with a band of pearls around her neck. There are only a handful of images I’ve found of her because she was the one taking the pictures. Each one of the images of her is precious to my family as they are the lasting reminders of her. I never met my grandmother, but I often look at her kind eyes and imagine what she was like.
As a young mother, I assessed my own assortment of images, and I realized there were very few of me in the shots because I was always the one behind the camera. I realized the importance of an image. It’s capturing a memory.
Whether it’s a family portrait, newborn announcements, a graduating senior or your special wedding day, let me help you capture the memories.
I have 8 beautiful children and 2 granddaughters. I am so proud of each of them. They inspire my creativity and are my true inspiration. Spending time with each of them is a treasure. I just can’t help taking my camera with me…just in case I can capture a memory.
I grew up camping in the mountains of Colorado. We moved to Washington when I was a teenager providing a new backdrop of beauty. My next adventure was in SW Nebraska where I owned a farm for 18 1/2 years. Now I have returned to the PNW. It’s my home and the perfect place to capture memories while enjoying nature.
